Every LOVE DOT piece is hand-dyed using Batik and Adire — centuries-old wax-resist techniques rooted in West Africa. Because the dye is often natural and the work is human, color and pattern vary slightly between pieces. Restocks of the same design may carry different depths of color than what's pictured here. Consider it the piece's signature, not a flaw.
The shirt that does everything.
Gallery opening. Rooftop dinner. Sunday brunch with the women who know. The BALU moves through every room the same way you do — dressed up effortlessly, dressed down intentionally, always unmistakably yours.
Made from sheda cotton — an embroidered cloth that's then hand-dyed through Ghana's centuries-old batik process — the BALU carries depth you can feel. The organic pink and green leopard-spot pattern isn't printed. It's drawn in wax and dye by artisan hands in Accra, which means no two shirts are ever alike.
One size. Every body. Zero compromise.
